Cause of downtown Denison fire remains under investigation
The Denison Fire Department is still investigating what caused the fire that destroyed two downtown buildings in October.
A representative from the fire department says the exact cause is not yet known. They say the insurance companies need to determine the cause with "high tech lab equipment" from their forensic arson lab.
Denison fire says there is not an indication of foul play.
The city will be spending more than $117,000 from the general fund to help with cleanup.
