A former Tishomingo teacher and cheer coach charged with lewd acts with a teenage boy won't have her trial in Johnston County.
Trial is set for next month in Cleveland County for Shelley Jo Duncan. She faces one count of lewd acts with a child, a felony.
Duncan was arrested back in 2016 for the alleged inappropriate relationship with a 14-year-old male student.
Her husband, Tishomingo superintendent Kevin Duncan, has announced he is resigning at the end of the school year.
Mrs. Duncan faces up to 20 years in prison if convicted.
