Choctaw Co. man rams into vehicle, shoots wife

CHOCTAW COUNTY, Okla. (KXII) - The Choctaw County Sheriff's Office says a vehicle incident Sunday night ended with gunfire.

Sheriff Terry Park says the incident happened east of Swink. He says 43-year-old Tobye Dockray allegedly rammed his vehicle into a pickup driven by a man from Swink.

Park says Dockray's estranged wife was in the pickup with the Swink man at the time.

Dockray allegedly pulled out a gun and altercation ensued, ending with the wife receiving a gunshot wound to the hand.

The woman was flown to a hospital in Oklahoma City.

Dockray was arrested and booked into the Choctaw County Jail on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, felonious pointing, shooting with intent, negligent discharge, aggravated assault with a motor vehicle and being a felon in possession of a firearm after a formal conviction.
