HUGO, Okla. (KXII) - One person is dead and another injured after a two car crash involving law enforcement in Choctaw County Friday afternoon.

The crash happened around 1 p.m. at Highway 70 and 271 near Hugo.

Troopers say Choctaw County Undersheriff Jody King was driving a patrol unit westbound on Highway 70.

They say 66-year-old Shirley Johnson was attempting to turn eastbound onto Highway 70 when she failed to yield at a stop sign and was struck by King's pickup.

Johnson was pronounced dead at the scene.

King was flown to a Plano hospital and admitted in critical condition with head and arm injuries.
