DAVIS, Okla. (KXII) - Davis Police Chief Dan Cooper says the break-in started behind the back of a vacant building where part of the metal was pulled off and the wall kicked in.
"Sheetrock gone," RayAnne Coslick said. "That's all I could think, sheetrock gone."
Cooper says around 8 a.m. Tuesday, they got a call from Dr. James Rhodes Chiropractor's office being broken into in an attempt to get inside the Cannabis Therapeutics shop next door.
The suspect or suspects first got into the empty office, then knocked out another hole getting into Dr. Rhodes chiropractor office next door to the dispensary. They then knocked out the third hole but this time getting inside their intended target, the medical marijuana dispensary.
"I kind of looked over one way and looked at the other and was like there are two giants in the wall," Coslick.
RayAnne Coslick heard the news when she came into work at the chiropractic office Tuesday morning.
"I vacuumed before I left yesterday so when I walked in and saw all the insulation on the ground I was like oh, this is strange," Coslick said. "But I didn't put two and two together until I got to the footprint that was back there."
Cooper says they working with the owners to confirm what all, if anything, was stolen.
We reached out to one of the owners but did not hear back.
A sign was posted on the front door saying they were closed for the day.
"It's amazing what people will do to get to things like that," Coslick. "It was a lot and it made for an interesting morning that's for sure."
Cooper says they are still trying to figure out how many people were involved.
