The Denison City Council will meet Monday night to consider a contract for a new company to put on the city's Denison on Ice event.
The deal with RE Crown Rinks, LLC would be a three-year contract and cost around $99,500.
The new ice rink would be 45% larger than the last three years, with a capacity of 140 guests. The previous rink had a capacity of 95 guests.
If approved, construction would begin November 1 and open to the public November 29 through January 5.
This is the fourth year the city will offer the event.
A new feature this season will be Denison on Ice's Olaf. The mascot will be available for pictures and guest interactions during the rink's operational hours.
