Denison convenience store fails health inspection

DENISON, Tex. (KXII) - A local convenience store failed its latest health inspection with a whopping 33 demerits.

The Denison Passport on Main Street and Travis got an 'F' in April.

Health inspectors docked the gas station for not labeling their food, no working refrigerator and heavily soiled surfaces.

They were also counted off when two employees couldn't explain any sort of food service knowledge.

The store was asked to make changes.

They will be reinspected in the next couple weeks.
