Denison holds 4th annual Kids Fest
Chilly weather and strong winds did not stop people from enjoying the 4th annual Kids Fest in Denison.
Dozens of families with their kids in tow stopped by Downtown Denison Saturday morning to enjoy family-friendly games, entertainment and all sorts of activities like bounce houses and face painting.
There was live music, and an appearance made by News 12's own meteorologists Tom Miller and Steve Lanore, who spent time with some pint-sized fans eager to learn more about the weather.
Lindsey Manley brought her kids to brave the weather, and had a blast all while supporting a good cause.
"My kids wanted to come out and enjoy the day, and the cold weather didn't stop us. We wanted to go bounce around in the bounce houses and see what all they brought out. Denison is great and we love being here," said Manley.
Kids Fest was free to the public, and sponsorship benefited the Grayson County Children's Advocacy Center.
