MENA, Ark. (KXII) - A Denison man is in an Arkansas jail for a bomb threat and arson at a resale store.

The Mena Police Department in Polk County received a bomb threat to the Mena Post Office just before 4 a.m. Sunday morning.

After that, officers noticed the resale store "Just for Kids" was on fire and the front door was shattered.

Mena police say the bomb threat and fire are related, leading to the arrest of Jacob Green from Denison, according to Polk County Jail records.

The 25-year-old was booked into jail Sunday morning for communicating a false alarm, burglary and arson charges.

Several agencies including the U.S. Postal Service and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives are assisting in the investigation.
