Denison robotics team wins big at Texas tournament

DENISON, Texas (KXII) Denison High School took first place at an area robotics tournament this weekend.

The team builds robots every year to perform certain tasks.

Schools from Colin County, Grayson County and Dallas County competed in Saturday's UIL Robotics.

First place means Denison will advance to state for the eighth time in a row.

We're told they beat out more than 50 local high school teams for the top spot this year and set a new record for points scored.
