DENISON, TEX. (KXII) -- For a second year the Denison library has teamed up with their local parks and recreation, and a local business to bring new activities to children while school is not in session.
The summer program named "Wild on Waterloo" or "WOW", offers kids enrolled in the program fun outdoor activities where many events take place such as kayaking.
This summer however a new form of entertainment has been implemented where kids can now learn how to fire a bow and arrow, through archery lessons.
The archery lessons are directed by Orvie Cantrell, owner of Big O's Archery, and his son.
The summer program has a cost of $100 a week. Meals, hands on participation and lots of fun is all included.
