On Wednesday afternoon officials responded to a call of a shooting that took place in southern Grayson County in Collinsville, near Pearce Rd. and County Line Rd.
According to Grayson County Sheriff's Office, Lieutenant Heath Wester, two people traveled from Oklahoma to Collinsville with the intention to buy narcotics.
What ensued was an apparent drug deal gone wrong.
One of the two people trying to buy the narcotics was shot with non-life threatening injuries.
The victim was then transported to Wilson Jones Hospital and later released.
No arrests were made, those involved did not want to file charges.
