DURANT, OK. (KXII)-- Five days after the Durant city manager filed suit against a city council member and the city, the city council met to discuss possible actions on Tuesday night.
City Manger Tim Rundel's lawsuit against councilwoman Oden Grube claims Grube constantly harassed and slandered him through social media and in person.
The meetings agenda stated the council would talk with an attorney about the lawsuit in executive session.
The council meeting however ended with no action taken. Rundel confirmed no action was taken on the matter.
Over the weekend, Grube posted a letter online from her attorney sent to the mayor and city attorney in which she requests the city attorney recuse himself from the executive session scheduled to discuss the litigation at the council meeting.
