Durant police officer diagnosed with rare disorder
A Durant Police Officer was hospitalized after being diagnosed with a rare autoimmune disorder.
The police department says Officer Wesley Crank was diagnosed with Guillain-Barré syndrome.
The disorder causes the body's immune system to attack healthy nerve cells in the nervous system. This can cause weakness, numbness and paralysis.
