Durant traffic stop leads to large drug seizure

DURANT, Okla. (KXII) -- A traffic stop Tuesday led Durant Police to discover 23 pounds of marijuana and other narcotics.

Joshua Jackson, 35 of Durant was arrested after a traffic stop resulted in the seizure of prescription pills.

In the ensuing investigation, Durant Police, the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics and Choctaw Nation Tribal Police raided a home in the 1000 block of North 7th.

Officers located 23 pounds of high-grade marijuana, two ounces of cocaine, five grams of methamphetamine, four firearms including a stolen gun, body armor and a large amount of cash.

Officers also arrested Brenae White, 25, in connection to the case.
