TANGLEWOOD, Tex. (KXII) - The Tanglewood on Texoma water system announced Friday that the raw water well which previously tested positive for E. coli has been cleared for use.
Officials say the Tanglewood water system, which serves about 1,300 customers in northern Grayson County, has resumed normal operations after a recent test came back free of any bacteria.
The company announced Wednesday that one of their water wells tested positive for E. coli.
The well had been disinfected and flushed since it was taken offline earlier in the week.
Officials say E. coli was not found in water that had gone through the treatment system, therefore a boil notice was not issued.
Authorities say they immediately took the well offline after receiving the test results.
