Early morning fire destroys vacant mobile home, sheriff's office investigating

LAMAR COUNTY, Texas (KXII) -- A vacant Lamar County mobile home is destroyed after catching fire early Thursday morning.
Crews responded around 3:30 a.m off of highway 271 north, half a mile south of Arthur City.
Firefighters from Powderly, Faught, Lamar Point and Chicota Volunteer Fire Departments arrived to find the home completely engulfed.
Firefighters battled the blaze for over two hours.
The cause of the fire is unknown.
The Sheriff's office is investigating.
