Fallen Bryan County Deputy Jarid Taylor's badge number retired

BRYAN COUNTY, Okla. (KXII) - Fallen Bryan County Deputy Jarid Taylor's badge number was officially retired on Tuesday.

On Jan. 14, Taylor was responding to an accidental 911 call when his car ran into a tree.

The 31-year-old fiance and father of two was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Bryan County Sheriff's Office posted to Facebook saying "Deputy Taylor made the Ultimate Sacrifice while protecting and servicing the citizens of Bryan County while wearing Badge Numer 23, and as of today that badge number will always remain in Rememberance of Deputy Jarid Taylor."
