Okla. Fire Marshal investigates suspicious mobile home fire

MARIETTA, Okla. (KXII) -- An abandoned mobile home caught fire Saturday in Love County Saturday, burning up nine acres around it.

The Okla. State Fire Marshal said he believes it may have been intentionally set.

Love County assistant emergency manager David Bond says firefighters first responded to a grass fire near Burlington and Greenville Roads just after 2 p.m. Saturday.

It took three departments two hours to get the fire out.

Bond says if it is determined to be arson, the Fire Marshal and Department of Environmental Quality could both pursue charges.
