Fire rekindles at Platter home

PLATTER, Okla. (KXII) - A fire at a home in Platter rekindled Friday afternoon after firefighters put out the initial fire overnight.

Witnesses say the home caught fire late Thursday night, but firefighters were able to put it out early Friday morning before it rekindled again in the afternoon.

A witness says investigators came out to survey the home and ended up calling the stations because it had flared up again.

Water was being brought by tankers as there is not sufficient water source to put out the fire.
