GRANT, Okla. (KXII) -- Grant Public Schools' former superintendent has been found guilty two years after the FBI raided their offices.
A federal court found Buck Hammers guilty of conspiracy to commit bank fraud and conspiracy to embezzle federal program funds.
He was indicted last year in connection with the misdirection of federal funds for the district.
Hammers was found not guilty of on a count of embezzlement and six counts of bank fraud.
Court documents show he cashed in more than $50,000 in bogus checks over a six-year period.
He's expected to be sentenced in May.
