Former Muenster teacher pleads 'not guilty' to relationships with students

MUENSTER, Tex. (KXII) - A former Muenster High School teacher was in court Friday for charges of improper relationship between educator and student.

Lynn Burge, 32, pleaded not guilty during her arraignment at the Cooke County Courthouse.

According to arrest warrants, Burge sent nude pictures of herself on Snapchat, went "back-roading," drank alcohol together, and took the student to her house, performed oral sex and then had sexual intercourse with a 16-year-old boy in fall 2018.

Burge allegedly pulled same routine with another 18-year-old adult student in March.

She faces up to 50 years in prison if convicted on all counts.

Her pre-trial is set for May 14 at 9:00 a.m.
