JOHNSTON COUNTY, Okla. (KXII) - A former Murray State College student accused of rape in 2018 was found not guilty.

After a three day trial, a Johnston County jury found Dakota Martin not guilty of first-degree rape.

Martin was accused of forcing himself on a woman while attending Murray State College in Tishomingo.

The school expelled Martin after the charges were filed.

Martin's attorney Jason May says the jury took two hours to come up with the verdict. The case is in the process of being expunged from Martin's record.
