FT. TOWSON, Okla. (KXII) -- A former Fort Towson Public Schools employee has filed a civil lawsuit against the district and several school board members alleging she was wrongfully terminated earlier this year.
The plaintiff, Ashley Burton, described as a full-time support staff employee of the district claims that the district, including current superintendent Charles Caughern and four school board members, conspired to fire her for improper and illegal reasons this past summer.
