Fort Towson board decide to take "no action" with superintendent

FORT TOWSON, OK. (KXII)-- Residents of Fort Towson, Oklahoma packed the school cafeteria in another board meeting regarding the superintendent.

On August 7th, students caught the superintendent talking and texting on his phone.

Previously on August 14th, during a school board meeting it was decided that he was no longer allowed to drive the bus after violating school policy.

On Tuesday night, the Fort Towson school board deliberated for nearly two hours only to come out of a closed door meeting with a "no action taken" result.

One concerned resident, Susan Smith wasn't satisfied with that answer, she said "I am very disappointed about what happened tonight, that no action was taken, we don't understand why".

The board plans to take up the issue again at their next meeting September 25th.
