Fugitive pens letter to law enforcement agencies a week after his capture
DELTA COUNTY, Texas -- A man who lead multiple law enforcement agencies on a chase in Delta County last week now has a message for the officers who arrested him.
Last Thursday, Gregory Wylie fled from officers during a traffic stop.
He was eventually arrested after leading multiple agencies on an hour long foot chase.
Well now he's apologizing.
In a handwritten letter, he says in the moment "I was not man enough to face the consequence of my action which led up to the point in my life."
He goes on to say, "What I witnessed that night by all the law enforcement personnel was a level of professionalism and team work and respect that I've never seen before."
Delta County law enforcement says they were pleased to read his apology.
