BONHAM, Tex. (KXII) - Thousands of dollars are missing from a Bonham drill team.

Bonham police say they're still adding up all the withdrawals, but said so far $5,000 was taken from a Fannin County bank.

According to the report a woman is accused of taking money from the Drill Team Parents Booster Club account for Bonham High School.

Police say the money went to things like bills, Amazon and a cashier's check for more than $3,000.

No arrests have been made.

Parents say the War Dancers raised thousands of dollars to fund their uniforms, camps and competitions.

Now the team has to start over.

The Bonham ISD Superintendent said in a statement that booster club finances are not controlled by the district.
