ARDMORE, Okla. (KXII) - The Gene Autry Museum teamed up with a local restaurant to raise some funds early this morning
Executive Director Leslei Fisher says Applebee's in Ardmore opened their doors before normal restaurant hours to serve people breakfast.
Local musicians performed during the meal.
Fisher says they have been able to raise $253 so far this year.
She tells us the money will go toward upkeep and hopefully a new air conditioning system.
"It's for a great cause," Fisher said, "You really help the museum and you keep a local treasure open and running."
Fisher says the next fundraiser will be around Valentines day.
