GRAYSON COUNTY, Okla. (KXII) - The Grayson County District Attorney's Office will be holding a series of seminars on drug awareness and prevention.
District Attorney Brett Smith said local law enforcement, prosecutors and the Sherman Substance Abuse Council will speak about current drug abuse issues.
Smith said the program is designed to educate teachers, community leaders and parents.
"A lot of times, youth are really more in the know about drug abuse and alcohol abuse and vaping issues. And I think a lot of times parents just don't understand what's currently going on," Smith said.
The first seminar is scheduled for October 15 at Sherman High School.
