Grayson Co. group protests against southern border wall

SHERMAN, Tex. (KXII) - A group of people staged a presidents day protest in front of the Grayson County courthouse this afternoon.

In a press release, the Grayson County Democratic Party says they wanted to voice their opposition to president Trumps Declaration of a national emergency to fund the wall at the southern border.

"Defense is not a wall. A fence is not protection against anything. Its a waste of money, its a waste of American values," said protest organizer Barbara Rush.

About 10 people held signs protesting President Trump's stance on immigration.
