Grayson Co. systems coming back online after ransomware attack

GRAYSON COUNTY, Tex. (KXII) - Grayson County says some of its systems are back online after a ransomware attack on Monday.

County officials said in a press release they have restored phone and email communication to the public.

The release also states online judicial, property and tax searched remain unavailable but should be back up soon.

The county took all systems offline after several county computers were infected with a ransomware virus Monday morning.

The outage has not affected 911, the county jail or early voting.
