SHERMAN, Tex. (KXII) Grayson Crisis Center has been at capacity for the past several months, and they're asking for help from the community.
The Crisis Center offers shelter, counseling, and support to women and children seeking help after domestic violence and sexual assault.
They tell us they typically see even more people coming to them for help this time of year with the holidays approaching.
Because of the increase in victims, the center needs the community's help with donations.
They're asking for paper goods, nonperishable food and full sheet sets to accommodate those escaping violence at home.
If you're seeking help, the Crisis Center hotline is available 24 hours a day at (903) 893-5615.
