GUNTER, Tex. (KXII) - The City of Gunter says their main water well went back in service Tuesday after being out for a month.
A stage four water restriction was issued March 6 after the main well, which provides 80 percent of the towns water, went down as well as the town's two emergency backup wells.
The stage four restriction prohibited residents from watering lawns and using excess water.
The city is working to build a new $2.5 million water system sometime in the summer.
