Howe police searching for burglary suspects

The Howe Police Department is looking for two men who broke into a convenience store and stole a bunch of cigarettes.

HOWE, Tex. (KXII) - The Howe Police Department is looking for two men who broke into a convenience store and stole a bunch of cigarettes.

Police say two disguised men broke into the Quick-Check in Howe around 2 a.m. Friday morning.

They say the two men stole cigarettes and took off, all within a matter of minutes.

Police say the two suspects were heavyset men wearing hoodies with their faces covered. The two were driving a light colored four-door sedan.

Sherman police say 40 minutes before the burglary in Howe there was a similar break-in at the Exxon on North Travis and Taylor Street.

The two suspects involved in the Sherman robbery stole over $2,000 worth of cigarettes.

Police have not said if the two burglaries are related.
