A Texoma man is dead and two others injured after a crash in Pittsburg County early Wednesday morning.
Troopers with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol say 49-year-old Robbie McBride of Hugo was driving east on State Highway 31 around 6:15 a.m. when his Jeep left the road and hit a tree.
The Jeep rolled after hitting the tree, throwing one of the passengers about 40 feet.
McBride was pronounced dead at the scene. A 35-year-old passenger was taken to an area hospital for internal injuries. The second passenger, an 18-year-old, was taken to a different hospital in critical condition.
The cause of the crash is under investigation. Troopers say neither passenger was wearing a seatbelt.
