CAMPBELL, Tex. (KXII) - A missing Hunt County teen last seen December 3 has been found.
The Hunt County Sheriff's Office says they found Kirsten Rice, 14, Thursday in Campbell, Texas.
Deputies were conducting a search north of Rice's home when they received a call from a resident who believed the teen was on their property. She was positively identified and taken to the hospital as a precaution.
The sheriff's office says Kirsten Rice, 14, walked away from her home on CR 4217 in Campbell, Texas on December 3.
“I am so glad that Kirsten is safe and I am grateful to the family that found her and called us," said Hunt County Sheriff Randy Meeks. "We had a lot of manpower out looking for her and were determined to do everything we could and use every asset we had available to find her safe. I want to thank all the officers and volunteers that gave their time to assist in this case”.
