ICE arrests almost 100 people in North Texas and Oklahoma

SHERMAN, Tex. (KXII) -- Almost 100 people are behind bars after a 10-day operation by Immigration and Customs Enforcement in North Texas and Oklahoma.

ICE confirms the operation ended last Friday and said in a release they targeted 'criminal aliens and immigration fugitives', including two people in Sherman.

The release said 29 of those arrested had been deported at least once before and 67 of them had criminal convictions.

They will face new charges after these arrests.

They were from 6 different countries and 11 of them were women.
