JOHNSTON COUNTY, Okla. (KXII) - The parents of a 2-month-old baby boy from Milburn could face murder charges, according to the Johnston County Sheriff.

The Johnston County Sheriff says the baby died from his injuries at the hospital Saturday night.

Lindsay Wolff and Christopher Hairell were arrested for child abuse and domestic violence in the presence of a minor child.

The sheriff's office says they received a call on Tuesday that the infant was unresponsive at Mercy Hospital in Tishomingo.

The child was flown to an Oklahoma City hospital in critical condition and was admitted to the ICU with a broken leg and severe head trauma.

They say the child's severe injuries showed signs of abuse or neglect.

The sheriff plans to file second degree murder charges for both parents with the district attorney Monday morning.
