We are mourning the loss of one of our own this week at KXII.

Randy Wells served as an engineer at Channel 12 for 48 years, most of those as our chief engineer before he retired late last year.

Randy passed away Monday at the age of 67.

In addition to broadcasting, Randy also loved music and was an accomplished guitarist and singer. He was best known locally for his blues and rock music played in the 1970-80's band, ”Bittersweet.”

He leaves behind his wife, Barbara, two daughters, several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Wells family.
