Kingston man accused of killing family set to appear in court Tuesday

MADILL, Okla. (KXII) - The Kingston man accused of killing his family last week has been extradited back to Oklahoma and will make his first court appearance Tuesday in Marshall County district court.

Authorities say Kevin Moseley, 56, shot and killed his wife, Monica, and her two kids as they slept at their home last Wednesday night, then drove to Abilene, Texas.

Moseley confessed in a phone call to a friend in New Jersey, who contacted authorities.

Texas Rangers tracked him down to a relative's house in Abilene and arrested him the next day. He was brought back to Marshall County and booked into the Marshall County Jail Monday.

Madill Public Schools has canceled school Friday so staff and classmates can attend the funerals of 16-year-old Jonathan and 12-year-old Stephanie Horath.

Services will be held at 11:00 Friday morning at New Beginnings Church in Madill.
