Lone Grove residents should be receiving clear water

LONE GROVE, Okla. (KXII) -- Residents reported a problem with discolored water on Monday, and the city manager said the problem is now fixed.

City manager Ian O'Neil said of the city's five water wells, only two were running during the weekend. When the water level got too low, residents began getting water mixed with sediment.

O'Neil said the city will run all five wells for the rest of the summer, and they have been pumping out all of the discolored water.

O'Neil added that running a garden hose for a few minutes should flush the discolored water from pipes.
