Louisiana man in hospital following roll-over crash

McCURTAIN COUNTY, Okla. -- A Louisiana man is in stable condition following an accident Thursday in McCurtain county.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol says 37-year-old Paul Babineaux Jr of Franklin, Louisiana was driving southbound on US 259, five miles south of Idabel, around noon, when he took a curve too fast and rolled his vehicle.

His vehicle rolled for nearly 400 feet before coming to rest.

He was pinned for nearly half an hour before he was freed by Idabel Fire department.

He was taken to Paris Regional Medical Center with head, back and leg injuries.
