Love County man makes court appearance on rape charge

ARDMORE, Okla. (KXII) -- Earlier this afternoon, a Love County man accused of multiple counts of rape made his first court appearance at the Love County Courthouse.

40-year-old Robert Woodall is being held in the Carter County jail because he's the nephew of Love County Sheriff Marty Grisham, but is still being tried in Love County.

Woodall is accused of having forcible sex with a girl in November of last year, and January of this year. He has also been charged with rape by instrumentation of another girl in April.

His bond is set at $500,000.

Woodall is due back in court in April.
