A major highway in Marshall County has reopened after being shut down Sunday afternoon due to a vehicle fire.
U.S. Highway 70 was closed in both directions just west of McMillan Rd around 11:36 a.m. after the Hauani Creek Volunteer Fire Department says a pickup and camper caught fire from a possible electrical issue.
The highway reopened at 1 p.m.
All occupants were able to get out safely.
The Madill Fire Department, Marshall County EMS and the Marshall County Sheriff's Office assisted with the fire.
