Man dead after Clayton crash

CLAYTON, Okla. (KXII) - Troopers say a man was killed after being ejected from his vehicle in a crash in Pushmataha County Friday morning.

They say 69-year-old Agert L. McBee was driving his pickup southbound on State Highway 2 around 5:50 a.m. around one mile north of Clayton.

Troopers say McBee's pickup departed the roadway to the right and he attempted to correct it, departing the roadway to the left and striking a tree.

McBee's pickup rolled, and he was ejected 29 feet. His seatbelt was not in use during the crash.

McBee was pronounced dead at the scene.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
