Man flown after motorcycle collides with car in Sherman

SHERMAN, Tex. (KXII) - A man was flown to a hospital in critical condition this afternoon after his motorcycle hit a car.

It happened on Wright and State Highway 289 in Sherman around 5 p.m. Sunday evening.

Troopers said a maroon car was heading north on 289 and tried to turn left on Wright.

A motorcycle was also going north and tried to pass the car when it was turning left.

The rider hit the front of the car and was forced off the motorcycle.

He crashed into a ditch and suffered serious injuries. He was flown to a hospital shortly after.

The two people in the car aren't hurt.

Troopers did not say if someone was at fault.
