HOWE, Tex. (KXII) - A Grayson county man was found guilty of felony assault of a public servant.

A Howe police sergeant conducted a traffic stop in May 2017.

Kendrick Anderson, 32, was sitting in the passenger seat with an open beer between his legs.

Anderson gave the sergeant a false name and birth date, saying he did not have identification.

The officer discovered Anderson's wallet in the vehicle and found there was an active warrant.

Anderson resisted arrest, kicking him repeatedly in the leg.

He'll be sentenced in April.
