Man indicted in movie theater stabbing

SHERMAN, Tex. (KXII) - A man has been indicted for a 2018 stabbing at a Sherman movie theater.

In July 2018, Bryan Morrison stabbed a patron at the Sherman Cinemark.

Morrison is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Witnesses at the Cinemark say Morrison was moving around the theater and sitting in reserved seats.

The situation escalated after Morrison was asked to move, and he ended up stabbing another man in the stomach.

The movie playing in the theater was The First Purge: a horror film where people legally get 12 hours to commit any crime they want.
