Officials said a 911 call came in from a house on Fishmarket Road just before 7 pm, the caller stating a man was attacking family members inside.

Deputies arrived and found Leroy walking down the road from the house carrying a baseball bat.

When they tried to talk to him, deputies said, Leroy started swinging, so a deputy fired his weapon.
