Measles case reported in Collin Co.

COLLIN COUNTY, Tex. (KXII) - The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention have reported new cases of measles.

Monday morning the Collin County Health Department confirmed a case of the measles, making it the second case in north Texas so far.

There are now 11 total cases statewide, at least five involving children.

The agency says at least 228 cases of measles have been reported across the county this year in 12 states now, including Texas.
